Ambience & Superb Dining      Beautiful Gardens & Pool    Magniificent Guest Rooms    Modern & Spacious Baths

The Hotel du Centenaire was created in 1964, exactly 100 hundred years after the discovery of the first prehistoric site in the area. It has the convivial spirit of a family home and the kind of quality management expected from one of France’s best establishments.
The grand entrance of the Centenaire opens out onto a green, floral haven. Hidden away lie the superb pool and lawns, delightful for sunbathing. A little nearer the hotel entrance, is an enticingly shaded terrace, a perfect place for afternoon naps or, in the evening, an ideal setting to enjoy anyone of our many delicious cocktails the barman especially makes up for you

The Hotel du Centenaire has 20 rooms and 4 apartments that combine both the modern and luxurious. Everything here is practical,
elegant and stylish... it is your comfort that counts.

The Centenaire offers a wide choice of accommodations : there are standard single
bedrooms, double bedrooms with adjoining small sitting room, and luxurious suites.
The baths are both modern and beautiful with all
the conveniences that you expect in a fine establishment  Whatever your preference, we offer exceptional comfort in state-of-the-art
 surroundings

The Centenaire's reputation has long since crossed the boundries of the perigord.  Everything here exudes elegance and good taste.
The dining room is in itself the most obvious example. Pastel tones, stylishly decorated, a refined atmosphere, attentive staff...All
important factors that help give you an extraordinary feeling of well-being and calm. enabling you to relish Roland Mazère's delicacies
coming from the kitchens with complete peace of mind.  Our English wine waiter, Tim Harrison, has worked for the big names in the all
the best wine producing regions, demands a perfect  knowledge of wines, to which dish they are best suited, he will give you attentive
and competent advice regarding which wine to choose.

Les Ezies de Tayac is the world capital of prehistoric sites and artifacts, and is classified as a UNESCO World Heritage site.  Contain-
ing many archaeological sites and stunning natural elements that are nonetheless on a human scale.
  The extraordinary accomplished
works of art to be found in Lascaux cave have given us a unique insight of how our ancestors lived. Over 17,000 years ago Cro-Magnon
man left us this outstandingly intense collection of cave art that depicts their lives, not only hunter/gatherer and artist, but also fighter
and visionary. A must to see while visiting the Centenaire.
