 The Domaine Bellefond
is situated in the middle of the Corrèze region in France,
and offers the perfect combination of rest and
relaxation together with the option of recreational pursuits.
The striking main building on the estate dominates the surrounding area.
The house dates back to the middle of the 17th century. The large high-ceilinged rooms, fairytale towers gives the house tremendous
allure.  It goes without saying that all of our guest rooms are comfortably furnished,  as are all of the rooms in the house.  You can book
a single room if you are simply passing through or you can spend an unforgettable holiday here together with your family and/or friends.

The owners like to keep the atmosphere relaxed and informal. Breakfast is served around the Aga in the large live-in kitchen. When the
weather is fine meals can be served on one of the three terraces. In the winter dinner is served in the dining room alongside an open fire.
The menus change with the seasons and always include regional dishes. The exceptionally well equipped kitchen is a paradise for
those who like to cook. We hold cookery courses here on a regular basis and will prepare fabulous regional dishes for you. We can
cater for special dietary requirements and will be more than happy to create a special dinner for your family or group.

You can also arrange to hold seminars or meetings on the estate. And if you are an artist looking for inspiration, you are welcome to
 use our impressive studio.

The estate covers an area of 12 hectares and has its own forest, a lake with excellent fishing, an orchard and a large garden.  Early
risers will often find themselves face to face with dear and other harmless wildlife. Guests are welcome to fish in the lake which covers
more than a hectare. Paths traverse the forest throughout the estate for hikes, jogging or biking. Younger guests can have great fun
playing in the forest, romping around in the water and on the banks of the lake. There are also a couple of bicycles that they can use.
You can engage in all kinds of sports and other activities such as canoeing, horse riding and golf in the immediate vicinity.  Dogs are

also welcome, as long as they are well trained.

Sightseeing and activities nearby include the romantic little town of Uzerche (known as ‘the pearl of Limousin’) is just 10km away and is
definitely worth a visit!  Also be sure to visit the town of Brive, with its wide range of delightful little shops.  Those who like horse riding
will find excellent riding stables in the surrounding area. There are also clearly marked footpaths through the varied landscape of the in
the local area. Experienced cyclists might like to take on the challenge of cycling one of the many routes in the Monediéres. One of the
most exciting ways to experience the beauty of the region is in a canoe.  We also have excellent golf courses in the region.
