From 6:00 pm on, a champagne bar is at
your disposal in the garden, on the
southern terrace, in front of the wonderful
view of the illuminated garden

              The Carriage Museum
Displays a rare collection of carriages and
horse-drawn vehicles designed for long
journeys, sport and most luxurious of all,
carriages for town outings

André Le Nôtre Designed Gardens
Andre le Notre was a leader in architectural
design concepts for gardens. The gardens
of Vaux-le-Vicomte sweep along a grand

perspective, of almost a mile and a half. It is divided up into a sequence of terraces, that

forms an orderly composition of borders of boxes based upon garden art motifs from
Turkish carpets, bordered flower beds, hedges, grottos, lakes and fountains.
